A vicious vampire cult stalks the night, seducing then butchering young boys on the cusp of adulthood. One lone vampire, Jimmy, may hold the key to revealing their lair; he is the only member to ever get out undead. All Blaise Rickman has to do is infiltrate the notorious Blood Dance Club and drag him out. Should be simple, right?
Wrong.
Ten years ago Blaise bedded then betrayed his rival Alexandria Woodrow for the place in a government agency. He got it. Humiliated, she fled.
Now the two are rivals again. She’s a bounty hunter in it for the money and the kicks. He’s a government agent in it for his job. The stakes are higher, deadlier. That same desire that sparked all those years ago is now a raging inferno. A game of desire and lust is played again, only this time Blaise isn’t so sure that he is the cat.
They are in for a night of new revelations, tastes, sensations, a little spanking and a whole lot of mouthwatering, toe-curling and flesh-scorching sex. But in the depths of the Blood Dance Club only one can take the prize.

He turned to her as soon as the vampire was gone. “Look, I’ll level with you. Jimmy is a loser, but we need him for our investigation.”
Her jaw dropped. Why that slimy snake! He didn’t want to apologize at all. All the warmth that had a moment ago been spreading in her chest and body suddenly chilled. Money. One hundred thousand dollars to be exact was the only thing that she had to gain tonight and she would be damned if she lost something else to Blaise Rickman.
“And this is my problem because…” She waved her hand in attempt to make him fill in the blank.
“Because you’re one of the good guys, like me, and I know that you want these filthy vampires dead as much as I do.”
“Sorry, but I don’t see how my target has anything to do with your case. He’s small potatoes in the vampire world but worth a whole lot of money to me.”
“Money.” He spat the word at her. “Is that all you care about. Do you really have such a one track mind?”
She laughed without humor. “Look who’s talking.” Shaking her head she walked around the room taking in the huge bed, mirror on the ceiling, red and black velvet everywhere she looked. Spinning to face him she glared into his soulful brown eyes. “Good girls and silly swats come last, you taught me that.”
“This isn’t about you and me. This is about right and wrong.”
“Oh, and you of course are right.” She sneered before sitting delicately on the bed.
His face flushed as he glared daggers at her. “Bloody hell, Alexandria!” He bellowed and she was taken aback by his use of her name. She couldn’t remember even one time that he had spoken it. “You must be the most infuriating woman. This is not a game.”
Alex laughed again grinning widely right back at his glare. “Of course it is, everything is a game to you. Win at all costs.”
“That was a long time ago.”
“I still remember – clearly.”
“Then you should know not to play with me.” He growled and shifted closer. “You will lose, again.”
“Not this time, Rickman.”
“Fine, you want to play a game, Lexie?” His expression changed and a slow sensual smile curled his lips making her stomach flutter.
“Name it.” She edged back on her elbows till she could feel the plush pillows beneath her. Licking her suddenly dry lips, she watched as he knelt on the bed and crawled towards her.
Each movement was tantalizingly slow, strong, and predatory till he was settled firmly above her. His legs rested either side of hers and his hands planted firmly on either side of face.
“I’m going to make you come,” he whispered against her ear, sending shock waves of arousal right down to her toes. Such simple words and yet she could feel them and her body responded with a vivacity that shocked her.
She swallowed hard and tried to will her heartbeat to slow down. “T-that doesn’t sound like a game.”
“Oh but it is.” He twirled a long blond lock of her hair around his fingers. “The moment your sweet body trembles with pleasure, the moment your toes curl, the moment that your carnal bliss screams from your lips, I win.”
